What does it mean if "a judgment has recently entered against you in favor of the the creditor" Can they garnish my SSDI Income?

Social security is exempted from garnishment for recovery of credit card debt. But, it can be garnished to recover outstanding Federal Tax debt and alimony and child support obligations. However, if the creditor has brought judgment against you to garnish your bank account, you should inform the bank in writing that the money that gets credited in your account is your social security benefit.
