Is there any possible way to have a judgment removed from your credit report? It's already been satisfied, but this is going to hurt me until 2016 if it stays on. Is there anything I can do?

Hello Max, Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to remove a judgement even if it has been satisfied. Most judgements stay on your credit report for at least 7 years.

Hi Max,

A judgment once entered generally cannot be removed before 7 years, though paid. However, you an try disputing this with the credit bureaus. Some people try and succeed. Even one of my friends succeeded in removing paid judgment through dispute.

Can you tell whether or not the judgment is showing as satisfied?

Thanks,

Aaron
