Has anyone had any success with PFD. I have AAC and LVNV on my report. Anyone have any success removing these with a PFD letter.

Yes, I have had lots of luck with PFDs. Just make sure you make it clear its PFD or nothing. If you dont they tend not to care to reason with you. At the same time though dont go so overboard you get sued

Pay for deletion letter is used generally to delete the negative element from your credit report on your full payment of your debt amount. It is a very positive instrument for improving your credit score, but for this you should come to an agreement in writing and make all correspondences through certified mail with the CA that as soon as you pay off the agreed part of the debt, they will get the negative element out of your report.

Yeah, I agree with Scott, as if you do not have any document for pay for deletion agreement with the CA, then even after you repay the debt amount, they may not remove negative element from your credit report and it will stay in your credit report for seven years and hamper your credit score and you cannot do anything.

Good advise all. I have been learning so much from this site. Sometimes I go back and read old posts and have read that without getting a letter of verification from a CA that alot of people do not get it removed. That letter is soo important.
