Hello....
While unemployeed I worked out an agreement with my mortgage company to pay 1/2 payments for 4 months. Now those 1/2 payments are showing my credit report as 30/60/90/120 days late payments. Can they do that? I've written to them and I'm getting (what I think is) a generic "we can't change it" type letter. Any way I can get them to change those past dues?

do you have all your credit reports?
what state are you in?
what is the original creditor and the name of the CA?
what is the date of first delinquency? 30 days after last payment

if I knew what bank it was, you could file a complaint with the bank regulator. the mortgage company may be within the law but that doesn't mean that complaining won't help you. Did you have anything in writing?

Yes, I have my credit reports
PA
Citi Mortgage
CA, I don't know what that is
yes, 30 days after the last payment. When I first called them, they told me that they could not do anything until I was 30 days late. When I got to 30 days late they put me in the 1/2 payment plan.
Writing - yes, I have the 1/2 payment agreement. I read it, and it does not have anything about how they would report it to the credit companies.
