I filed bankruptcy in Nov. 2009 and my debts were discharged, March, 2010. My wages have been continuously garnished by a company who were part of the discharge. How can I recover money that was taken?

Bankruptcy may stop most wage garnishments. However, I've read about circumstances wherein garnishment may continue if you've failed to pay for child support or towards alimony. I guess it also holds good for back taxes. I don't remember to have come across any other example.

OP...do you have the name of the company who keeps taking money from your wages? Is it the same company you dealt with, with the BK or someone else? I'm just curious because a similiar situation happened with someone I know. A certain company was NOT suppose to take anymore money out from her checks. She did fight it in court and received every penny back!!
