My husband and I have been trying to clean up our credit. We are trying to raise our credit scores. I signed up with this credit repair/counseling service named CareOne. So, far I have not seen any suspicious activity. They have sent me a copy every month of the creditors that they have paid, the agreements they reached with the creditors and an itemized list of how my funds are disbursed. Very impressed if I must say so myself. However, the problem is my husband, they really can't help him cause he biggest debt is child support(children from previous relationships). When he applies for credit they say he doesn't have a credit score so they won't extend him any credit. He is paying his child support, they are automatically taken from his paycheck. He has two things on his credit that they can help him with, but they said they are so minimal that he could do that on his own. How would he go about doing this? What is the easiest way to get his credit score up, especially since he gets turned down from everybody, including Walmart and Target. I told him to stop applying for stuff cause that also affects his score. Thanks!!

The best way to increase credit score is to make payments on time. This is because late payments have a negative impact on your credit score. Your husband should contact with his creditors and make all the payments time to time.
