Can i file a dispute to have the collection company to remove the negative from my report after paid in full?

Please advise.

No you can’t file a dispute to remove the negative item from your credit report. You may make a written request to the collection company to remove it from your credit report after repaying the debts in full. But it fully depends on their discretion whether or not to accept your request.

Usually negative items remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date of your first default. If the collection agency doesn’t agree to remove it from your credit report, then you will have to wait till 7 years. Credit bureau can’t do anything in this regard.
