i was sued by discover card in alabama. Not my fault, my attorney forgot to file my extension over X-mas while i was on vacation. i missed a court date and bam i got sued. I then moved to Texas and changed companies. I live and work in Texas paying Texas taxes etc. but our home office is in Michigan. My paycheck comes from Michigan. Can they garnish my wages in Texas ??

Have you received a judgment order against you? Moreover wage garnishment is exempted in Texas. You should immediately consult with an attorney in this regard.
