question! third party bought a debt from another comp, i never paid the card off!! very broke at the time and did not have a job,can this third party comp sue me for the debt??? i did not owe them to begin , they bought it from another comp!!!

Lets clarify a few things. You had a debt with your creditor who sold it off to a third party (collection agency) who was pursuing you for the debt. Am I correct this far? Ok. So then you did not have the money to pay it off. Do you have it now? Which state are you in? Has the SOL on your debt expired? What do you plan to do about this debt that you owe?

Yes, if you don't pay them they can sue you. I think if you can answer the questions asked above it will give us a clearer picture.
