i disputed some accounts on my crdit online. Didn't get a respns in 30 days or at all for tht matter. went to check credit after 43days, still on my credit and would not allow me to dispute again. It gav message item validated. Is there a follow up letter i can write them, because they never responded. They all are also with collection agencies, no contact info. Please help.

Hi michelle,

I would suggest that you send them a letter stating that they reconsider their position. Attach a copy of the letter of dispute that you had sent earlier and also mention that you have not received any response from them but instead got to know the information after you pulled your credit report. This should be effective in correcting the mistakes in your report. If the report still contains the error despite your requests, you have the right to file a lawsuit.

Michelle, I would send them a debt validation letter by certified mail. Give them at least thirty days to respond. Other than that the only thin I can think of is either asking what they provided for debt validation (ask the bureaus) or do as Carol suggests and ask them to reconsider. I imagine whatever the credit bureaus decide may be the final answer. If you really feel the info is wrong you could push it and call the atty general and ask for help there.
