Arrested on check fraud charges.

I have been getting phone calls from a collection agency out of Buffalo, NY saying I owe Cash Net USA money. They said they will have me arrested on check fraud charges. Can they do this?

Welcome to the forums!!!
No they can’t do that. Debts are civil, not a criminal offense. You can’t get arrested for check fraud charges. Moreover, payday lending is prohibited in NY. They are just trying to scare you.
