Repeated Calls for someone else by CCS

I am so frustrated with CCS!!! After 10 calls by them to my 6 mos old business line... Their very assuming imposing voicemail states that if I am not the person they are trying to reach than I must call their 800 #. Which I did several times and I am STILL getting calls. I am looking into what I can due to stop this HARASSMENT. In addition I am so fired up that I am going to look into some sort of legislation to make this type of collection startegy illegal. Than I plan to leave posts on websites of those who contract with CCS to do this harassment of people totally unrelated.

In addition I think the amount of info they leave is borderline in regards to credit privacy.

Imagine my embarassment when I failed to turn down my answering machine and got that message in front of a client. I am furious but determined........

Start by looking up the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).

File complaints with the AG's, BBB and FTC.

What phone number are they calling from and/or asking you to call? Also, what is the specific name of the company? For example, here's some info. on CCS, but this may be a different company than the one calling you since CCS is just initials.

CCS Financial Services, inc. dba Credit Collection Services
Two Wells Ave
Newton, MA 02459
phone: 617-965-2000
fax: 617-964-5988
president: Steven Sands ext 2105
vice president: David Sands

registered agent:
CT Corporation System
101 Federal Street
Suite 700
Boston, MA 02110

The creditor 'Capital Assistance Group, LLC' has the exact address of CCS. the Managers are also Steven and David Sands
registered agent:
Steven Sands
Two Wells Ave
Newton, MA 02459

Also, if this company is setup as a LLC or Corporation, they must have a Registered Agent on file with the Secretary of State to receive legal documents (i.e. certified mail, court filings, etc...) for each state they do business in (i.e. making telephone calls to or sending letters to residents). A Registered Agent is who you send a Cease & Desist letter demanding that they stop contacting you. To look up your state's Registered Agent for CCS go to "http://www.usa-registeredagent.com/secretarty-of-state-resource.htm".

When I began receiving constant calls from a CA, I started calling them 3-4 times a day to say Hi and to see how the weather is. I then tell them I want to verify my phone number with them because they are calling the wrong number. After a few days, they put me on their do not call list and stopped calling.

CCS always calls me after regular business hours and leaves me messages for someone else, telling me to call if I'm not that person. Since they aren't ever open when they call me I just called back the number above and left a message for Steven Sands asking that they not call me anymore. Thanks for the number!!!

We have been harassed by this company. My son was 15 days late on his first payment with his college loans because we consolidating them. American Education Services turned him over to them. My son paid the $35.77payment and they still haven't stopped. We have proof of payment on his bank statement, we faxed proof to them over a week ago and they still say he is in collections and are now assessing him #1.79 a day for their screw up. Some supervisor by the name of Brian Ford. They have been rude, inconsiderate and told me that they have every right to call us starting at 5 AM till 9 PM. and because they auto dial and you can say heloo 10 times before someone live is on the line we just hang up and they said that if you do that you go back in the que and they redial in 45 minutes. The BBB has them at a c- and have had 276 complaints. Let us know how to get out of this nightmare

Hello pesty, I would call your state att general and file a complaint with them. They will investigate them and get answers. I know what it feels like to have collec5tors call when the debt is not your own.
John, if these calls continue you may have to speak to them in person and record your call. Ask them not to call your residence anymore and then if they do you can sue them and get money. Also get the name of who you speak to and the agency. If they continue you also can call your atty general.

SEnd a Cease and Desist letter by CMRRR then sue them for $1000 for every call after.
