how do I start to clean to clean my credit im tryin to get a house loan

Hi shadonnaembry,

Welcome to this community :)

You need to provide more information on your credit and debts so that the members and other guests in this forum can help you in cleaning up your credit. However, the very first towards credit repair is getting hold of a copy of your credit report and check all the tradelines minutely.

Then you will have to decide which are the wrong listings and which are the negative ones. You need to dispute the wrong listings with the credit bureaus. As for the negatives, if these are unpaid accounts, you need to pay off the dues and negotiate a "Pay for delete" agreement (PFD) before making the payment. With PFD the negatives are removed. Though, not all creditors agree to PFD.

However, if these are paid accounts with negatives, you can send Goodwill letters to the creditors and collection agencies. Goodwill letter is a request to remove the negatives on the basis of your goodwill. For more details on credit repair refer http://www.creditmagic.org/repair/myths-credit-repair.html#7895 .

Thanks,

Aaron
