This letter should only be used after the proper court procedure has been followed. You must notify the credit bureau you are suing them by serving them with a Summons and Complaint.

This letter is to further notify you that a lawsuit has been filed against you at [name the court] on [date]. An additional copy of the Summons and Complaint is attached. The case number is_______.

Once I have received your response to the complaint, I will contact your attorney to schedule a pre-trial conference.

My reasons for filing suit are: (give your reasons as enumerated in the complaint)

I am obliged to reply to the point mentioned, in paper, with written signature on it. I have won a couple of such lawsuits before. If you agree to the terms I am proposing, have your attorney contact before <date>, <time> to avoid a court appearance.

Enlist the items to be deleted or corrected on your credit report.

You can do a google search and find all types of letters, these forums make them much simpler to use and you have access to the people that have written them so they can advise you more on what to put on them and how to mail them, etc, etc.

I like this part of the forums, each of them has this information to offer.
