Hello I need some advice. I have several PDL's and found they are not licensed in OH where I reside. 2 are off shore companies. Loans were for 400$, I have paid at least 600$ on them each. I faxed letters stating I found they are illegal in my state and I only owe principle. I feel the debt has been fulfilled. Does this sound like I did the right thing? What to do next because they are not cooperating. Keep demanding payments.

Yes, you did the right thing. As they are illegal, so you owe them only the principal amount. Ask them for the refund, since you have already overpaid them. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account. Don’t worry mate….they can’t do anything.
