The abbrevation is "mcydsnb" on my credit report but I don't know who the account is with. How can I determine the company and contact them to close the account?

Do you have a Macy's charge card?
Also, look for a Visa or MasterCard with the
same or similar account information on
your CR.

1. If the Account(s) are not yours, by all means,
Dispute with the CBs.

2. If you wish to close the account(s) contact "MCYDSNB"
directly. Their contact information; Name and Address (at
a minimum) should be be listed on your CR (most of the
time a telephone number is included).

If you ever had a Daytons or Marshall Fields card - Macy's bought them out last year, so it could be that too.

Hi Angelica,

MCYDSNB takes care of the accounts of Macy's and Federated Store credit cards. Do you have account with any of these stores? What else does the credit report say?

Thanks for the question and the 800 #. I was able to call and close the accounts. Had it not been for the question, not sure I would have found them.
