I need a letter to remove medical collections from my credit report. I have several collection agencies calling me for medical bills that are not mine. I need them removed, but don't know how.

This negative report is over 7 years old and is still reporting on my credit report. I need a letter to have this removed. Isn't that a law? Please advise and show me an example letter.

Welcome to the forums!!!
You may ask the collection agency to validate the debt in writing via certified mail with a return receipt request. If they don’t give any reply, then send them a Cease and Desist letter. Inform this matter to the credit bureaus with a written proof (copy of validation request letter). I hope they will take necessary steps.
