Next step be in this process

I was informed today by my employer that Western Sky/Cash Call sent in an employment verification form to start the garnishing of my wages. My employer sent the form back. They sent it through a collection agency called NRS, LLC. I know they are an illegal company and I only have to pay the principal. Will they really garnish my wages? What should my next step be in this process? How long before garnishment will happen? I am at a loss and not sure what to do.

Welcome to the forums!!!
Western Sky/Cash Call is an illegal lender. They can’t garnish your wages, they are just tying to scare you. If possible file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.

If you’ve never had cridet or have a poor cridet history, it might be difficult to get a regular cridet card. In these situations, a secured cridet card might be the only way to improve your cridet standing.Like many regular cridet cards, secured cridet cards have costs. Some of the most common costs include application fees, processing fees, and annual fees. Find out the fees for the secured cridet card before applying. Stay away from cards with high fees that use most of your security deposit.Secured cridet cards are “secured” with a deposit that's held in an account and used when you default on your payments. Many secured cridet cards have minimum and maximum deposit limits. Some secured cards place deposits in an interest-bearing account. Find out if your deposit will earn interest and if so, how much.Income and age restrictions might apply to some secured cridet cards. Even though you’re willing to put down a deposit for a cridet limit, card companies still have requirements in place. Many secured cridet card lenders require borrowers to have a checking or savings account with their bank before extending secured cridet. Was this answer helpful?
