how long does the sol last in louisiana for a medical billthe bill is from 2003 but it just showed up on my credit report about 2 months ago. It says on the credit report from Sept. 2008

Statute of Limitation for written contracts, oral agreements and promissory notes are 10 years in Louisiana, but it is 3 years for open ended contracts. As far as I know, medical bills falls under open ended accounts and so the SOL will be 3 years for medical bills.

Mr.Sands, the statute of limitations in louisiana for credit card debt is 3 years so the latest they could have sued you in court was 2003 so otherwords as of january 1, 2004 they cannot sue you in court anymore.
