Regarding credit score

My significant other and I have good credit( 800+) but one of us is self emplyed.
We are thinking about buying a house, even though we both have good credit, is there anything we can do with our credit that can off set the self-employed issue?

you should go to the mortgage forum and post your question, you can access it from the link at the top of the page. They have alot of people that work in the mortgage industry on that forum and they would be able to give you some good advice.

Since both of you have a good credit score, I don't think that you will find any problem getting a home mortgage loan at low interest rates. Moreover, as far as I know, you need to keep the home you are purchasing as a security or pledge and so the "self employed" status would not affect much in getting the mortgage loan.

Hi

Good both having good credit score but it is better to confirm with provider of credit because they will help about your problems.
