Put your question here ...

frederick j hanna served me with a summons on a debt i fieled my answer back thru the court today what can i expect to happen next? I tried to set up payment arrangements said i didnt make enough money

After you file a response to the summon, the response will be send to the court's file and a copy of the response will be forwarded to the creditor's attorney. Now you will get a court date where you need to put your comments on the case before the judge. You must present yourself on this date else a default judgment may be passed and the creditors may win the case.

I agree with mary. I will point out that if you do lose and pay off the debt in 45 days of the judgement, many states let you files a movement to vacate the judgement. You will need a reason (not enoug time to get a lawyer etc) but it will remove the judgement from your CR

What does the poster mean when they say "I tried to set up payment arrangements said i didnt make enough money". Who looks at your income and decides a person does not make enough money to pay off the debt? The collector?"
Sewing nana, Is this the original creditor? It appears it would not be. Have you asked for debt validation? Maybe by some chance they will not be able to validate and you could keep from getting the judgement placed on you. How old is the debt?
