I switched from a PO Box to a street address a little while back and have received some bills at a passed due date. It has come to my attention that a 30 day late payment is showing on my credit score. Is there anything I can do to try and remove this black mark on my credit rating. Thank You

You can write the company explaining you are aware you missed a payment and would they grant your request to remove that missed payment. This works if you havn't been late before.

HI Redatt
Yes, a 30 day or a 60 day late payment can be easily removed from your credit report if you can negotiate with the creditor and pay off the outstanding amount along with the late fees. A late mark generally stays on your credit report for two years from the date you make your account current and may lower your credit score.
