state of missouri employment place a garnishment levy of 25% which i cannot afford to come from my payroll. which i tried to get it lower to 10% but they block where i cannot get it lower. I was not notify of the hearing my employer didnt notify me of the garnishment what can i do about this? Is there any way i can get another hearing it has not been 30 day since the judgement yet.

Hi ms. vikki

You may get in touch with your creditor and make a request to them to lower the garnishment to 10%. If the creditor does not agree to this I am afraid you will have to oblige.

Neither your creditor nor your employer is bound or obliged to let you know about the garnishment. It is not their duty to do so. So, you can't blame them. All that you can do is make an earnest request to your creditor to lower the garnishment to an affordable rate.
