I just recently got 2 items deleted from my credit, how long does it take for my credit score to change? and more or less how many points will it go up, they were a repossession and a medical items.

First off, congrats!

I believe you need to wait at least 30 days before seeing any changes.

Just out of curiousity, how did you get the repo off? Was it past the Statue of Limitations?

Hi aarons,

The credit report does not get updated before 3 months of the alteration. Actually this process depends on the individual Credit Reporting Companies. Hence, keep checking on the credit report properly to spot the changes. You can also call the CRA to find out about the time when they generally update any alterations. As for the ‘how many points’, well, there is no fixed point which will be added to your credit score as soon as the negative elements have been dropped. The points depend on the negative items on your credit report and on your method of payment.

Check with credit company and cll some authorised member to resolve the issue.

Do it as early as possible.
