Will I have to pay judgement against me

I am selling my home in North Carolina. I have 2 judgements against me from credit card companies. They have not filed liens. Some people have told me they will get paid from the profits of my home, and others have told me they will not. These judgements were recorded with the courthouse.

Yes the proceeds from the sale will first go to pay off the lien and then will oblige the judgment. Is this a forced sale? I don't think you can sell the house on your own if there is a judgment against you. Check with your state laws, however. As far as I know, you cannot sell or transfer the title on any property after a judgment. If you are the owner then the proceeds will go to paying the judgment.

There are no liens only judgements. It is not a forced sale. I just want to sell it.
