Hi,

I have a serious concern. I just pulled a copy of my credit report, and I saw 2 negatives that were removed but my score didn't increase. I really don't understand. People always keep saying when negatives get deleted points increase . Can someone please tell me what is happening?

Hi Ricman,

Can you tell what kind of debts you had? And how old were these accounts? More information is needed to help you in your problem.

Thanks,

Aaron

Even if you have 'negative; items removed, i thought it took a little while for your credit score to raise. But..it WILL raise, I'm pretty sure.

Times are changing and this concerns me a bit. I have also seen where installment accounts have been paid in full and no score change. I didn't expect a big rise but back in the day there was always some type of 'reward' for good behavior - 3-5 pts.

I wonder if there has been a change in the algorithm that hasn't made it to the public yet.
