Bad credit score

Hi all,

I just found out that I have a 628 credit score. I am thinking of getting a best buy card as i just lost my laptop and iPod. So can you please tell me if I can get a best buy card with this score and i also thinking of trading-in my car. Which one should I do first? Should I trade-in my car first or should I apply for the best buy card?

Hi Birkita,

You have mentioned that you lost your laptop and i-pod. So, did you report this to the police? If not, then you should do this immediately. Please let me know as to how many credit cards do you have? I think with a score of 628, you won't be able to get the best offers in th market. It is better to improve your score first and then try getting a card.

As for the car, if you want to trade-in your car, I think you need a good credit score for that too. So, your best move would be to improve your credit score.
