Verizon is constantly asking to make a partial payment on the debt. This is completely BS. I don't owe this debt. I have made several requests to validate the debt. I had even contacted their National recovery Department. I think this is only the tactic to reset the reporting date. Some of my friends have asked me to settle the debt. Is this a wise option?

If you don’t owe this debt, then you need not to make any payment. Send them a Cease and Desist letter to stop contacting you.
