Hi,
I'm currently living in the Netherlands but want to return to Australia as work is hard to come by and I'm getting homesick. I have a couple thousand euros worth of debt to the tax department and some debt collectors.
I have been told that they will stop me at the airport in The Netherlands for my unpaid debts. I was wondering if this is the case for all over the EU? Would they stop me in another EU country for debts to the Netherlands?
Any advice or help would be great.
Call tax
Call the tax department and work it out tell them you are not working. Did the debt collectors tell you this that they will stop you.
Also check with law on this matter as well.
