My father got a payday loan through this company. They paid off the loan, and the company continued to take money out of his account. They found this out, and had them stop payment on it. Well a few days ago, this same company called my father and told them they were going to take him to court if he didn't agree to let them take another 250 out of his account every payday. He agreed because he was afraid they would sue. I think this is being done fraudulently. Has anyone else had this same problem with this company? They also have not sent any kind of correspondence stating the amount of the loan paid, owed, etc please help!

What is the name of the pdl company? Is this company legal? Tell your father to close his bank account and open a new one to stop unauthorized withdrawal. If your father has already paid off the loan, then tell him to file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.
Your father needs to verify certain stuff, but if he has already paid, then he can go ahead and file a complaint.
