Bad Credit Auto Loans

I'm desperately in need of a car. My job depends on me having a car. I thought I was going to have help from a family member but, that didn't happen.

Hi Deborah,

It is better to repair your credit before applying for a loan. You need to have a good credit score, atleast above 730 to qualify for low interest rate private loans, and atleast 620 credit score to qualify for government loans.

If you can't wait to repair your credit you can request any of your family member or relative to co-sign the loan. If this does not seem possible you can try getting added as an authorized user on somebody else's credit (one who has good credit score). This will help you in improving your credit score, and won't in any way affect the other person's credit.

Thanks,

Aaron
