After legal mediation in NJ for the thousands my sister's ex owed her, he agreed to refinance the private student loan that he forced her into co-signing in order to avoid litigation. He then disappeared and has not been seen since (even by his lawyer.) He then defaulted on his first payment in Dec 2005. Sallie Mae assisted her by "charging off the debt" which has impacted her credit-she pays all of her bills on time. She said it doesn't matter since she will wait until the charge off can be removed-but is there anything you can suggest out there to help get her?

I recieved a summons the other day and on it, it has my name, address, phone # (that is extremely old), dob and my ssn#.
The father is taking me to court for visitation, custody and I am wanting to know if he has given the courts my "personal" information that is on the summons or does the court look that information up and place it on the summons?
I would like to know because he's sister works for Social Services (city) and if he has my ssn# she has went into my personal file and gave it to him.
