When dealing with My Cash Now, I think that they are an offshore one (based in Canada?) and illegal in my state of NJ? Any input?

I live in Mississippi and I currently have a loan with Mobiloan and I was reading this thread and was wondering if Mobiloan is illegal in Mississippi? I currently have received 1183.42 from them with payments of 943.89 with a principle balance of 1012.04. I would like to legally get out of this very high interest loan.

i received a letter from the collection company and the say i owe a debt to Associate Bank and which i never had a account with them but they have my social number but the last name was wrong they offer me to pay some of the amount if not i will have a judgement and need to go to court what should i do to stop them? Please help. my credit report is clean now no collection at all. all 3 bureau report all collection are drop . Please Advised.

I understand lenders pull whatever the middle score is for a mortgage loan. If you have a 640,650,660. They use "650". BUT With your experience what bureau from Experian,Equifax and Transunion MOSTLY holds or has the middle score? Thank you so much!

I have defaulted on a PDL that I have with Zip19 in the amount of $1160.00.I live in California and I am unable to repay the loan. The harassing phone calls have. I have used the company for several years. But now I simply cannot afford to pay them. I am unemployed and can barely payment and bills right now. I am unsure what steps I need to take. I am really scared of these guys making life a living hell for me.

I live in Washington, DC and would like to know which one of these companies are not allowed to lend in this state. Spot on Loans, Cash call (Western Sky), Ameriloan and United Cash Loan.

I have made multiple attempts at getting Cash Call/Western Sky off of my credit reports but nothing is working all I keep getting back is that the loan is valid. Is there anything else I can do?

I fell behind on a few payments to Plain Green, so far they have e-mailed me numerous times and they have called my place of employment almost everyday. Does this qualify as harassment?

I ran late on my car payment due to financial problems late last year. In February, I called the car company to see what I could do to get back in good standing and avoid repo. They said to become current in status by paying everything in 2 installments within a week. So I called my mom, borrowed some money and was back to current status,,,, or so I thought.
