I have several accounts that are reported for 99 months, 60 months etc.. I have had two late payments on one that is more than 2 years old and one late payment that is 6 years old. At what point do they "fall off" or do not adversely effect your score? Do I have to request that they be removed?

Status has not changed

I recently sent a debt validation to a CA of mine that has been on my credit report for about three years. They in turn have sent me a letter back stating that it would be helpful to have a copy of any documentation you may have that supports your dispute. In the interim, we have requested the 3 major consumer credit reporting agencies change the status of this account to "Disputed". I just pulled my credit card and the status has not changed. What can I do? Do I have to send them any documentation?

Is this ethical?

I just recently found out about a derogatory reporting on my credit. It's from a vet bill from a very traumatic experience. The vet said she would bill me cause of everything that was going on. Well apparently they had my old address and it ended up going to collections a couple months ago. The CA is not willing to work me at ALL even considering I just found out about it. Fine I have no problem paying it all but then they added on over of $100 worth of interest and said if I don't pay the interest they will not "delete" it from my credit history.

Hi all,

I got my credit score up to 751 but I'm still unable to apply for Amex Card or Discover due to one of my auto loan was comment as"redeemed, repossed and reinstated". I paid this auto loan 2 years before mature date, but the creditor reported that I was behind, I admit I was bad I didn't pay the auto loan on time, due to job loss and family situation. I made a big mistake, when I ran my credit report. the auto loan shown as 30 days late 15 of them, 3 of them 60 days late, and 1 90 days late.
