I have been trying to send validation letters to 3 CAs that are listed on my experian report. I used the addresses provided on the credit report and sent them certified. They were returned "undeliverable." I send an email question to experian but have not gotten a response. Is this something that should be reported? Any help would be appreciated-I spend $7 on these to get them certified and it bugs me that the credit report didn't have the right address!

Hard Inquiry in Wrong Name and Address

I have a hard inquiry that popped up on my Credit Report in the last few weeks from Bill Me Later (Affiliated with Pay Pal). It is listed under someone with the same first name and a different last name and the address is incorrect.

I called TransUnion (I found out via CreditKarma) and they said to send a letter to the creditor. Should I just draft an "Unauthorized Credit Inquiry" letter and include the incorrect info that is listed on my Credit Report or should I try to call Bill Me Later first?

I only filed because I got hit with a garnishment from a debt from 17 years ago (it was legal on their part.) The debt was 9k and grew to 22k with interest an penalties.. I get a letter from my employer letting me know I will have $400 a paycheck ($800 a mo) taking out for this debt which would have prevented my from basically living and paying my other current debts so I had no choice to file BK.

my husband co-signed for his daughter with a bail bond agency and she won't pay the bill. It has gone to a collection agency and they are threatening us to take us to court and have a judgement against us. he actually co-signed for 2 of them with his daughter and 1 with his son. and neither of them have paid. The daughter owes almost 15,000 and the son owes almost 4,000. I'm frustrated because it affects me now. But we can't seem to get them to be responsible for there actions. Is there something we can do or are we just stuck with taking care of it. any help on this would be awesome.

disputing debt when faced with being sued

I was just informed that my cosigner was notified of an attempt to collect a debt that I don't believe I owe. She was told that she had 21 days to pay or she was being sued. Of course this puts me in a tough position. Is there any way I can stop these proceedings without admitting I owe the debt. They claim I owe $2000 on an origonal debt of $1000 and it has been six years since the origonal debt. The statute of limitations is 6 years in my state and it's about to expire. I have not kept the reciepts because it's been so long but I can get the cancelled checks from the bank for a fee.
