When dealing with My Cash Now, I think that they are an offshore one (based in Canada?) and illegal in my state of NJ? Any input?

Payday lending is prohibited in NJ. All of the lenders in this state are illegal. You owe nothing more than the borrowed amount to the illegal lender. Just close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.
