I have several payday loans and little to no money left every month after I pay them off. How can I stop this cycle and stop them from taking almost all of my paycheck? I live in New Jersey and am trying to do a little research on it but I’m unsure about a lot.

Payday lending is prohibited in New Jersey. That means all of your lenders in this state are illegal. You owe them only the principal amount. No interest, no fees. Just close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.
