Stop ER Solution calls to incorrect # and person

ER Solutions calls looking for a person who does not live at my address, I've never heard of, on my daughter's land line. She is a police officer and the phone is unlisted, unpublished and if you have caller id comes up "unknown data." ER Solutions has an option (#4) to hit that says "I am not the person you are calling and this is not that person's phone number." After repeatedly, day after day, three or four times a day, hitting that "#4" the phone calls keep coming. What can we do to stop it?

Bella I have the same problem except the ER Solution is on my Credit Report from Comcast and they also keep calling me but never use that name. They say that they are a collection agency calling because someone at this number owes them money. They never say the name because they have the wrong name and phone number. Comcast sent my name to this collection agency because someone stole my name and social to turn on cable. I am trying right now to get this taken off but I did not know all the horrible stories I have been reading about this ER Solution Collection Agency. I wonder if the companies using them no how bad this really is? I have a bad feeling that we all are going to be having a hard way to go.

Hi Carlita
You should first check your credit report and find out whether the name of ER solutions is there or not. If it is not there, there is no need to bother their call unless and until they inform you about your debt in writing. As per the Fair debt collection practices Act, if the CA contact you over phone for the debt, they must send you debt validation notice to inform you of your right of validating the debt. However, if they have listed the debt in your report, immediately send them a DV letter by certified mail.

ER solution has send me the bill for sprint which is not mine. I never owned the sprint or nokia. Therefore I send them the letter notifiying that this are not my charges. so now they are asking me to sign affidavit in which they are aking my personl information such as DOB & SSN. They are also asking me to turn it back in 21 days. If I do not file this affidavit within 21 days they will send this to collection dept. and if I do file it then they will send it to investigation. So now can you please suggest me what should I do.

There is no one by the name of Alistar Harrington at our address/phone-- at least in 40 or so years. These calls are approaching harassment. Unless this pattern ends, we will contact our State Attorney General and the National Do Not Call Registry.

f you do not owe the money that ER Solutions says you do.....the Better Business Bureau is useless as are most consumer help agencies...talk to a lawyer (it will cost money), gather all the information you can, and go to the State Attorney General's website for your state. If they have a consumer affairs division, file an online complaint with them against ER Solutions. You must be honest about the debt and be able to show or explain your position and why you do not owe a debt. ER Solutions are tenacious and will not give up easily...but they can be proven wrong if you are patient and you use the law. In most cases ER Solutions will attempt to ignore your lawyer, don't be put off by this.

That is what I had to do. A letter of inquiry from the State Attorney General to ER Solutions got their attention, an acknowledgement that I did not owe any debt and a letter of apology for any inconveniences caused to me. But it took 6 months, the assistance of a lawyer and the help of the State Attorney General.

I checked my scores some couple of weeks ago, they ran down in the low to the mid 400s. I was struggling having a hard time getting approved for anything due to a layoff I had last year so I fell behind on my bills and now I am struggling trying to get my score back up so I can purchase a home. I surf the internet in search of help and I met with AUTOLINKS CREDIT SERVICES and I explained to them my credit situation and they promised to help me get my scores back on track so I can be qualified for the home purchase. After some couple of days later, they cleared the bills on my credit profile and effected the changes across all 3 credit bureaus and finally raised my scores to 793. I bought the house after a week and I am very happy today with my family. You can contact them and have them fix your credit issues as fast as possible. Contact via: autolinkscreditservices@hotmail.com / +1 (520) 800-6528 .
